UMBC

Over the past 13 years, I have garnered industry and academic experience, building my design skills in both theory and practice. I have taught in some capacity at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, with faculty appointments at top academic institutions including the University of Washington, the University of Maryland, and MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art).

Advanced Interface Design, UMBC

I lead a group of nine students through a semester-long design exercise, translating Ink, a print-based publication into a web-based iPad app. This included a research phase, design phase, and testing phase. We provided Ink’s founders with three user interface concepts/interaction models.
