As a lead product designer for NPR’s user experience group, I worked on the 2009 overhaul of NPR.org and visual and interaction design for the NPR Music iPhone app. In addition, I worked on feature enhancements to NPR’s custom content management system, was product owner and designer of NPR’s pattern library, and lead designer and information architect on a beta mobile concept that pulled NPR stories based on GPS location.
I also provided art direction and conducted heuristic evaluations and usability testing for continued product development of NPR.org. Via my work at NPR, I am very familiar with Agile software development methodologies.
I continue to provide original editorial content on design and technology for NPR.org.
